Sustainability in strategic planning considers innovative outcomes that respect people, place and the planet. It sets out a clear vision and principles at an early project stage and guides subsequent planning and design, such as public realm and infrastructure upgrades, Territory Plan codes and individual developments.
How can we plan for sustainable communities?
This seminar will explore key strategies applied to strategic planning for urban infill, including planning for active travel, green infrastructure, active living and low carbon precincts with a particular focus on the city and inner north.
Certified Environmental Practitioners who attend this event will accrue CPD points.
