Vic - Environment Students and Early Careers Evening

Environmental leaders share their thoughts on building a career and adapting to change in the growing field of environmental practice.

EIANZ Victoria would like to invite you to attend an evening of discussion on careers in environmental practice. A panel of experienced environmental professionals from across different sectors will speak about their unique career journeys, and the challenges and changes that they have experienced along the way. The panel session will be facilitated by Centre for Sustainable Leadership's Matt Wicking, with opportunities for questions and networking after the first half of the evening.

Panel members for this event will include:

  • Basha Stasak - Campaigner, Australian Conservation Foundation
  • Lisa Walpole - Senior Project Officer, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning
  • Josh Hales - Aquatic Ecologist, Jacobs
  • Kara Brussen - Sustainability Consultant, Arup

If you are currently enrolled, or are considering enrolment in an environmental education program, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about what options are available to you after graduation.

Come along and hear from our panel about what it’s like to work as an environmental practitioner in the private, government, industry and not-for-profit sectors – and how you can best position yourself for challenges and changes in your own career journeys.

Thank you to our venue host
