New Zealand Symposium 2015 - save the date!
Focusing on What Matters (for flyer click here)
27 March 2015
9am - 5pm
Wharewaka, Wellington Waterfront
The Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) is hosting a one day Symposium focussed on how we can achieve good environmental outcomes in these times of significant change to environmental policy and organisational structures.
The Symposium will be opened by Hon Dr Nick Smith (Minister for the Environment) and Rod Oram.
Speakers from local government, industry and NGOs have been invited and will discuss the Symposium theme based on two topics currently affecting environmental management in NZ – the freshwater NPS and local body amalgamation.
This symposium has been designed to provoke thought on how we might operate within these changing structures and continue to focus on what really matters to make a difference. In addition to speakers, there will be opportunities to network, generate discussion, learn from others and consider implications for your own work.

Prior to the Symposium (on 26th March) there will be a Student and New Professional Field Trip to Waiwhetu Stream and the Opus Research Facility. Click here for more information.

non-members: $250 + GST
