The field of social sustainability and social impact is growing rapidly and more often, practitioners are being challenged to take account of social impacts on stakeholders. Whether the impact (positive or negative) comes from a development, program or policy, being able to understand, manage and measure social impacts is becoming increasingly important. Understanding social impacts is a challenging task, and can vary depending on the business and environmental context. However, there is much to learn and share from those who are actively working in industry and academia on how to take account of social impact, and how best to manage it. Join the EIANZ NSW Division for a unique event where we will discuss the challenges and opportunities surround social impact assessment and management, plus much more.
