WA - Fauna Assessment for Environmental Impact Assessment Workshop

A two-day workshop for regulators, consultants, local and state government officers, industry, researchers and students.

With over 15 presenters from government and the private sector covering a range of topics:

  • Survey and assessment techniques
  • Threatened Species discussion panel
  • New technology and innovations

Government Sector (Local, State and Federal): Understand the latest WA fauna survey technology used by zoologists and how it relates to EIA guidelines, regulations and best practise requirements.
Zoologists: Refresh your understanding of contemporary fauna survey and assessment techniques, as well as emerging technologies that will assist you be more competitive in today's market.
EIA practitioners: Understand what you should be asking for of your fauna consultants and how the data collected by them shoudl be used in your EIA documents.
