Have you ever been challenged by the decisions that you make as an environmental practitioner? What has challenged you – the values associated with the decision, the knowledge that you brought to the decision, or the skills that you applied in its making?
All members of the EIANZ make a commitment to follow the EIANZ Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct in their professional activities.
There are increasing expectations that environmental practitioners will be accountable for the work that they produce, that they will be members of a professional association that holds them accountable for making decisions ethically and conducting themselves in a principled manner. The EIANZ Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct is the framework that is used to hold EIANZ members accountable.
Do you know and understand the expectations that you have signed up for as a member of the EIANZ? Join us for breakfast and hear why ethics are a key part of your identity and standing as an environmental practitioner and as a professional.
Our guest speakers include Brisbane Ethicist Dr Trevor Jordan, Senior Lecturer in Applied Ethics at QUT, Jon Womersley - President EIANZ, Alan Chenoweth - Senior Principal Cardno Chenoweth.
This event will be followed by the Professional Development Workshop - Environmental Ethics from 9.30am - 12.30pm. For more information, click here.
To register, follow the prompt below to register online, or click here to download the form.
If you are booking for both events, please complete the downloaded form and return. Unfortunately our online system can not give the discounts.
