Meet the Speaker

Karen Lamb is the manager of Umwelt’s national Social and Community team. As an experienced social practitioner, Karen has directed and managed a large number of social impact assessments, stakeholder engagement programs and appraisals of company social performance across a range of community and jurisdictional contexts, including internationally, and across numerous sectors including mining, oil and gas, renewable energy and infrastructure. She has also led the social component of a number of integrated Environmental, Social and Health Impact Assessments (ESHIAs) to fulfil both client social performance standards and government regulatory requirements.

Karen has strong experience in managing complex projects across all stages of their life cycle.

She is a member of the EIANZ, the Social Practice Forum and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
