Please join Executive Director Felicity Greenway and DPIE staff live as we walk you through a series of NSW Government major planning reforms known as the Rapid Assessment Framework (RAF). The RAF was introduced in July, and is designed to ensure that State significant projects in NSW are supported by better assessment, coordination and engagement.
A new Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (REAP) Scheme has also been implemented that introduces new quality assurance measures, undertaken by registered practitioners, to improve the quality of EISs submitted to the Department. The Certified Environmental Practitioners (CEnvP) IA Scheme has been approved by the Department as an accredited REAP Scheme provider.
DPIE is delighted to partner with the CEnvP Program and EIANZ to bring you this seminar and answer your questions on the implementation of the RAF and REAP Scheme.
If you have any questions for the Department in advance of the presentation, please email nsw@eianz.org
