Fiona is a passionate environmental impact assessment specialist with 25 years’ experience. She is an advocate for continuing professional development and high professional standards, recognising the benefits of time away from everyday work at the coal face to expand professional knowledge. Fiona is the current Secretary of the Institute Board, former President of the NSW Division, the inaugural Chair of the EIANZ Advisory Council, a Fellow of the Institute and a Certified Environmental Practitioner – Impact Assessment Specialist. She was awarded the EIANZ's May Lou Morris Award for outstanding service to the Institute at a Divisional level in 2016.
We acknowledge and value the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in the protection and management of environmental values through their involvement in decisions and processes, and the application of traditional Indigenous knowledge.
