Geraldine has over 20 years’ experience in the field of environmental impact assessment and management and is a Certified Environmental Practitioner and Impact Assessment Specialist (MEIANZ, IA0732). She has worked on multi-disciplinary projects in the resources, natural resources, infrastructure and transport sectors. Geraldine has authored and contributed to the delivery of a number of environmental impact statements, business cases and development approval assessment reports for major projects in Queensland, Australia; the United Arab Emirates; South Africa and Mozambique. 

Geraldine has been a long-standing member of EIANZ and participated on the SEQ Division Committee as a general committee member and Treasurer, before taking up the role of Divisional President in 2021. Geraldine is passionate about providing members with opportunities to engage with professional peers and to encourage technical conversations to facilitate learning. 

Olivia Williamson specialises in town planning and environment law at HopgoodGanim Lawyers. In additional to extensive planning advisory and litigation experience, an integral part of her practice is advising clients on environmental management, approval and compliance issues including representation in environmental prosecution and enforcement proceedings.  Olivia has been recognised in Doyle’s Guide as a Recommended – Leading Environment & Heritage Lawyer Queensland 2024, Leading Planning & Development Lawyer Queensland 2024 and included in the lists of The Best Lawyers in Australia 2021-2024 editions for Planning and Environmental Law.   

Olivia is a Fellow of the EIANZ and outside of her legal life, Olivia is active within a number of boards and organisations including The Women’s College Council, the Jane Austen Society of Australia and Justices of the Peace in the Community program. 

CP brings over 16 years of diverse experience in the public and private consultancy sectors, with a specialized focus on the rail infrastructure industry. She has played a key role in the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects across Queensland, NSW, and Victoria, demonstrating strong expertise in environmental planning, approvals, and both construction and operational-phase environmental management. Her proficiency also extends to environmental auditing, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of compliance and sustainability. 

Beyond her technical expertise, CP is a dedicated advocate for inclusion and diversity. She actively contributes to Inclusion & Diversity forums, where she is committed to creating supportive environments that empower women and underrepresented groups within the industry. Her passion for these causes is reflected in her leadership and engagement, striving to drive meaningful change in the workplace. 

In her personal time, CP finds fulfillment in giving back to the community. She volunteers with her therapy dog, Drogo, at the Mater Hospital, where they bring comfort, companionship, and joy to patients and staff alike. This combination of professional excellence and community service underscores her holistic approach to making a positive impact both in and out of the workplace. 

Jamie is Head of Discipline - Environment, Sustainability and Approvals with a multi-disciplinary engineering, construction, operations and maintenance firm. His past roles include in sustainability, government relations, and auditing. Jamie’s extensive experience has been gained working in consultancy, project, operations and compliance roles including across the energy, renewables, mining, and infrastructure sectors in Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia. 

After completing his tertiary studies in Victoria, he moved to the Kimberley region of WA to work in the resources sector. He's lived in SEQ since 2010. His other interests outside of work include trail running, bushwalking and bush regeneration. Jamie aims to apply for CEnvP accreditation by the end of this millennia. 

Claire is a former Divisional President and committee member who has worked as a consultant, academic, and now an environmental and climate activist.  

Currently based in Central Queensland, Claire is looking forward to supporting and promoting EIANZ’s aims in its regional areas. 

Gina is a senior ecologist with Umwelt. She works closely with the planning and environment team to assist clients with their pre and post approval requirements. Gina manages an array of projects for clients in the renewable and resources sector. She is also responsible for preparing a variety of technical deliverables, coordinating and managing fieldwork.  

Gina is passionate about learning and finding more efficient and effective ways of doing things. Outside of work Gina spends time with her family in nature. 

Jessica is a CEnvP with over 16 years’ experience in project management, planning, environmental impact assessment and environmental management across Australia and the UK. Jessica is currently a Principal Environmental Consultant at Umwelt Environmental and Social Consultants working on a diverse range of projects including infrastructure, renewables and precinct planning.  

Jessica completed secondary school on the Sunshine Coast and has recently returned a to Qld after living and working in NSW and the UK.  

Jon Womersley has more than 30 years of practical experience as an environmental professional. His academic qualifications are in natural resource management, agriculture and teaching.  

Jon is a Certified Environmental Practitioner and an independent consultant in the field of environmental management and dispute resolution.  Jon has led the environmental protection, cultural heritage, and national park and natural resource management functions of government in several Australian jurisdictions. 

He is a Life Member and Past President of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand, and currently chairs its Qualifications Accreditation Scheme Board.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders ANZ, and a nationally accredited mediator and facilitator. Jon lives and works in regional Queensland in Rockhampton. 

Kaleena is the Practice Director and Principal Ecologist at Litoria Consulting. She has extensive experience in environmental assessment, approvals and project management and has an intimate knowledge of statutory environmental planning including local, State and Commonwealth environmental legislation.  She has worked on various projects throughout Queensland and the east coast of Australia.  

Prior to her time at Litoria, Kaleena was involved in environmental education, community engagement and a range of environmental auditing projects.  

Kimberley is a Chartered Environmental Scientist with applied broad knowledge of environmental principles and management. With a strong background in environmental management and approvals in water, transport, metal mines, and Net Zero infrastructure, Kimberley has supervised a range of projects on behalf of various clients, conducting environmental appraisals and management in support of small scale to high-profile, national infrastructure projects.  

She delivers technical advice and management, primarily environmental assessments, design inputs, design and site compliance assessments, and consenting strategies. 

Rebecca Rowlingson is Chair of the Queensland Generators Environment Forum and committee member for the South East Queensland Division of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand. As a Certified Environmental Practitioner she draws on over 18 years experience in her current role as Environment and Community Business Partner at Origin Energy.   Rebecca has experience working as an environmental professional and project manager at Rio Tinto, APA Group and Powerlink Queensland.  She has managed infrastructure and mining approvals throughout Queensland with a more recent focus on standardisation and improvement projects across Australia and New Zealand.  

Rebecca is passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging and uses her network to connect people at all stages of their careers in a genuine and beneficial way. 

Swastika (She/Her) is a doctoral candidate at the School of Communication and Arts, UQ. Her project is at the intersection of communication (online and offline), sustainable tourism and environmental management. With prior experiences in environmental consulting and the start-up ecosystem, she is currently interested in digital sustainability, participatory and climate change communication to name a few. Future work involves translating research to evidence policy and Social Impact Assessments. 

Tony is a Principal Environmental Scientist, specialising in Contaminated Land Management and Remediation. He has recently joined the company and has been working on a variety of projects involving the investigation and remediation of different media, including PFAS in groundwater, as well as working on general environmental compliance programmes. 

Tony spends his evenings and weekends in the workshop working on saving cars (usually from himself), or in the garden, or sitting around the fire with friends and the doggos. Occasionally you will find him on the mountain bike trails at Daisy Hill or surrounds with his partner. 

Nirvana is a Senior Associate Environmental Scientist at SMEC. Before joining SMEC, Nirvana was a freshwater ecologist at several specialist consultancies.  At SMEC, Nirvana has worked on a range of infrastructure projects, including road, rail and water projects, assessing environmental constraints and impacts, and obtaining approvals. Nirvana studied in Canberra, before working for the NSW government – first in Sydney and then in Armidale.  She’s been in Brisbane since 2004 and spends her spare time attempting not to work.
