Jem (they/them) is an early career environmental professional with experience in the private sector as a consultant, working in contaminated land management and ecology. They have a Bachelor of Science majoring in environmental biology and coastal and marine science and post their undergraduate studies gained research experience with Curtin University's Trace and Environmental DNA Laboratory. Jem currently works as an ecologist with Environmental Resource Management (ERM). Jem joined the EIANZ to expand, learn from and contribute to the environmental community and support action to improve environmental management and policy in WA.
We acknowledge and value the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in the protection and management of environmental values through their involvement in decisions and processes, and the application of traditional Indigenous knowledge.
