The event is focused around providing key advice to young professionals on finding their voice in the workplace. Finding a voice as an early career professional can be overwhelming. When is the right time to chime in? How can you know if your words make an impact?
Join us for a presentation on building confidence in the workplace, from internal discussions to client workshops.
We'll discuss physical cues to break into a conversation, tools to make your participation more impactful, and ways to add value even when you're not speaking. We aim to build confidence to find your voice in the room - even if you consider yourself an introvert!
The event will start with networking over drinks and nibbles, then a presentation from Noelle Pause and small group discussions of the takeaways. Senior professionals from several organisations will be part of the group discussions to share their stories/advice.
This event is in person (Auckland) and aimed at early career professionals with less than 5 years of experience. Registration is essential, book early to avoid disappointment.
Meet the speaker:
Noelle Pause is Beca's Clients & Markets Learning and Development Lead, based in Wellington. She is responsible for providing training, coaching, and resources to improve the way we interact with clients. Starting as a management consultant in the United States 15 years ago, Noelle found her voice despite describing herself as "very bad at her job." She aims to give everyone confidence to make an impact in professional discussions, especially early career professionals.
