VIC | Coastal Erosion Informative Walk on Mornington Peninsula with Local Councils

Join us for an informative walk with two local councils to better understand complex issues around environmental and human management, active coastal erosion, planning and public access management.

Here's what you can look forward to:

• Learn about the complex issues of managing coastal erosion in an active climate change scenario.
• Gain an understanding of how councils manage complex environmental, planning and public access issues on our coastline.
• See for yourself the enormity and complexity of coastal erosion.
• Learn how councils involve local communities in coastal issues.

Please be aware that this event involves traversing steps and walking across sand and sandstone for approximately 2-3 km.

This event promises to be both educational and enjoyable, providing you with a deeper understanding of the issues we are passionate about. There will be an opportunity to discuss this further over an informal dinner at Frankston South beach afterwards (at own expense).

This event is open to both members of EIANZ as well as non-members. Places are limited! Book early to secure a place at this event.
