Celebrate the holiday season with us on December 4th at the WA Rowing Club! Enjoy a delightful evening featuring stunning river views at sunset, delicious nibbles, and your first drink included with your ticket.
We're thrilled to welcome guest speakers to the Christmas Party from the Environmental Defenders Office (EDO), who will share their insights on Australia's new environmental authority.
As part of its Nature Positive policy, the Federal Government has introduced legislation to create a new national body, Environmental Protection Australia (EPA), marking a first at the national level. In this session, we'll explore the similarities and differences between the proposed Federal EPA and the WA Environmental Protection Authority, and discuss the key factors for establishing effective environmental regulators across Australia.
Our celebration is open to everyone – members and newcomers alike. Don’t miss this chance to expand your network, share ideas, and be part of our vibrant community. Secure your spot today by booking your ticket with the link below.
Please note the WA Rowing Club is located about 150m east of Barrack Square. There is limited street parking; the nearest large carpark is the CPP Terrace Road carpark. Please be aware that the Club is a heritage-listed building, and access to the function room is via stairs; there is no lift access.
