The NZ Chapter of EIANZ invites you to attend a webinar, presented by Dr Jenni Gadd, on the latest updates to the chronic copper and zinc default guideline values for the Australian and New Zealand Guidelines for Fresh and Marine Water Quality (ANZG), as well as recent acute guideline values developed for New Zealand and funded by the Ministry for the Environment.
This session will explore the appropriate application of these guidelines – the values of which depend on local water chemistry. The webinar will cover their relevance to discharges, stormwater management, and potential future implications for the National Policy Statement for Freshwater Management (NPS-FM) and walk through some real world examples for use.
Don't miss the chance to gain valuable knowledge from an expert involved in the development of these guidelines and learn how they shape our approach to water quality assessments and management.
This event will run off New Zealand Standard Time (NZST) and will run for 1 hour. The webinar will be recorded and a link to the webinar will be sent to all registered attendees in the days after the webinar.
