Dr Dianne McGrath was one of 100 short-listed astronaut candidates worldwide in the Mars One mission: a one-way mission to Mars. Dianne will share experiences in becoming Mars-ready: practically, socially and mentally; and explore how it applies to our life here on Earth.
Meet the speaker: Dr Dianne McGrath
Dianne's aim is to lead a purposeful life that seeks to create better environmental outcomes. Towards this goal, she is a leading sustainability expert, part of Stop Food Waste Australia, and the director of the sustainability and business consultancy: Food For Thought Consulting Australia. She gained a PhD in Environmental Engineering, Graduate Diplomas in Sustainable Practice, Environmental Management, and Marketing, and a Bachelor of Education.
