Botanist / Fauna Ecologist Perth and Brisbane
	ERM (Environmental Resources Management)

ERM is looking for experienced Botanists, Vegetation, Wetland and/or Fauna Ecologists to join our Perth and Brisbane based ecology and approvals team. With a strong pipeline of work relating to renewable energy sector we are open to recruiting at either the junior or mid levels. 

The position(s) allows for flexible work arrangements to suit individual needs and can be part-time or full-time.

Consulting experience is preferred, however if you have experience working in a related industry such as local government, revegetation, land management, conservation, or education we would like to hear from you.

The ideal candidates would have 1 to 5 years’ relevant experience in a consulting or team environment, with the following:

• Tertiary qualifications (and/or post graduate qualifications) in ecology/botany or science
• Good verbal and written communications skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
• Strong initiative with the ability to work independently where required
• Strong understanding of environmental/planning approvals regulations in Victoria
• Experience in managing approvals for infrastructure projects, with experience in the renewables sector desirable.
