Environmental Consultant (3 x) – Contaminated Land Management (CLM)
Ballina NSW (1 x); Coffs Harbour NSW (1 x); Gold Coast QLD (1 x)

We are currently looking for three (3) intermediate to senior level Environmental Consultants (Contaminated Land Management) to join either our Ballina, Coffs Harbour or Gold Coast offices.
This represents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to take the next step and develop their career in Northern NSW or SE QLD and experience everything the regions have to offer. In this role, you will focus on the delivery of complex contaminated land management (CLM) projects, predominantly in NSW and SE QLD. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for authoring service proposals, developing leads and supporting junior staff and the team as whole.

About the Role
- Manage project delivery and provide technical expertise.
- Lead complex field programs (soil/groundwater/vapour).
- Provide advice on complex remediation projects (working alongside our remediation services team).
- Prepare technical reports and review the reports of junior staff.
- Initiate client leads and prepare fee proposal for new business.
- Supervise and train junior team members.
- Impart technical knowledge to other staff members.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Degree in environmental science, engineering, or related discipline.
- 2+ years of contaminated land management consulting experience.
- Aptitude in designing, planning and implementation of contaminated land management projects.
- Advanced technical ability coupled with strong report writing capability.
- Proven project management expertise and experience.
- A strong understanding of NSW CLM legislation and guidelines (e.g. NEPM, PFAS NEMP and ANZG).
- Experience in preparing fee proposals and managing stakeholders (clients, regulators, Council etc).
- Full current Driver Licence issued by an Australian State or Territory.
Desirable Skills
Although not essential, the below would be useful in your role with ENV:
- Strong understanding of QLD CLM legislation and waste management framework, as we work routinely in QLD.
- GIS capabilities (GPS sampling grids, groundwater contours, site plans and maps etc).
- Experience working with various remediation technologies (i.e. SVE/MPE, PFAS plant, GW treatment plant).
- Industry association accreditations (e.g. CEnvP, Chartered Engineer).
- Licenced Asbestos Assessor (LAA).
