We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Senior Botanist/Ecologist to join our team in Rockhampton. If you have a strong background in Australian ecosystems, particularly with a focus on botany, and are skilled in scientific report writing and Queensland environmental legislation, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of ecological assessments, environmental management solutions, and conservation planning across various projects in Australia, primarily in Queensland and New South Wales. You'll work on both large-scale and small-scale projects for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with State and Commonwealth guidelines.
Key responsibilities include conducting ecological assessments, managing data, preparing detailed reports and maps, drafting proposals, engaging with clients, and overseeing project timelines and budgets.
This is a full-time position, based in our Rockhampton office.
