Warren Pump, of Salient GeoEnvironmental, has 35 years of experience in environmental engineering, specialising in the assessment and remediation of contaminated environments. He began his environmental career in the late 1980s leading remedial projects In Victoria under Australia’s first site contamination legislation. Warren has led successful environmental projects throughout Australia and overseas, including remediation of former chemical plants, explosive manufacturing plants, waste disposal areas, and major transport infrastructure. He has held senior management roles in global consultancies and is a recognised expert in site contamination, frequently serving as an expert witness in litigation.
For the past 26 years, he has been appointed a statutory environmental auditor by the Victorian EPA. Warren is a Fellow of Engineers Australia and a Certified Environmental Practitioner. His extensive voluntary leadership roles, including a five-year term on the EIANZ Certification Board, affirm his dedication to advancing environmental practice.
