Maria Pedicini has been a Director and Principal Consultant of an environmental consulting practice for over 15 years. Maria founded Environmental Projects – a successful environmental consulting business, that facilitates responsible development, planning, design, and management to clients in various business sectors including mining, ports, airports, manufacturing and industrial facilities.
Maria is an environmental practitioner of influence through her work, business, project delivery, stakeholder engagement, EIANZ involvement, and her willingness to inform, mentor and advise. She willingly provides feedback on government policy and regulatory processes, participates on advisory committees, delivers university coursework tutorials, supports ongoing professional development of her staff and finds work experience opportunities for those in their early career.
Maria has an applied-science degree in environmental studies and post-graduate diplomas in law (environmental compliance) and business. She enjoys her ongoing development in the profession and gaining new skills and knowledge to achieve environmental best practice.
