The Australasian Journal of Environmental Management (AJEM) is owned by the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) and published by Taylor & Francis. It addresses general issues of policy and practice in resource and environmental management. The geographical focus centres on Australia, and Aotearoa New Zealand, but submissions covering pertinent international perspectives are also welcome.
The aim of the Journal is to enhance communication and understanding across various areas of resource and environmental management, contributing to improvements in environmental practice. Occasionally, an issue may be devoted to a specific theme, such as a particular management problem or specific resource sector. Emphasis will be on topicality.
All articles are subject to peer review prior to publication. The final decision regarding publication rests with the editors.
Prospective authors should submit online via our journal submission system, Scholar One. For further information, refer to the Instructions for Authors.
