EIANZ takes the health and wellbeing of members, event attendees, staff, presenters and hosts seriously and is conscious of the concern across the community about the COVID-19 virus. We are monitoring the situation daily and the impact on the delivery of our events. We are implementing approaches that are consistent with advice from the World Health Organisation and national and local authorities.
Many of our events are hosted by our corporate partners and held in public places. EIANZ event organisers are in touch with corporate and venue hosts to assess risk. We are also in contact with our event presenters and facilitators to determine any risks in running events.
If you have returned to Australia or New Zealand from any of the high-risk countries within the past 14-21 days, have been in contact with a person who has tested positive to COVID-19 or have Coronavirus symptoms, we ask that you stay at home and look after yourself.
If you are attending one of our events please remember to:
If you have registered for an event you can either transfer your registration to someone else or receive a full refund if you:
Please email office@eianz.org and this will be organised. Please include details of the event and the name of any new attendee.
If EIANZ cancels an event you will receive a full refund. If EIANZ postpones an event you will have the option of attending on the new day, transferring your registration to someone else or receiving a full refund.
EIANZ is carefully monitoring the situation and we will let you know if there are any changes to planned events and what options are available.
We are looking at ways to deliver planned events electronically if circumstances change and they can't be delivered face-to-face. This includes webinar formats, video conferencing and teleconferencing. We will be working closely with presenters and hosts to look at safe ways to deliver events so you can continue to get access to professional development and networking.
Thanks for your understanding and support.
