We are delighted to share an overview of the recent EIANZ 2024 Impact Assessment Symposium.
This symposium communiqué captures crucial insights into the role of impact assessment in the transition towards a nature and socially positive, clean economy.
With over 220 environmental professionals gathering in Brisbane, the symposium featured an impressive line-up of 34 presentations, a dynamic debate, and two interactive workshops.
Our thanks to Lachlan Wilkinson FEIANZ, Carolyn Cameron FEIANZ, Ellora Kelly, the symposium technical committee and the Impact Assessment Special Interest Section for their exceptional contributions to this pivotal event and communiqué.
We acknowledge and value the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in the protection and management of environmental values through their involvement in decisions and processes, and the application of traditional Indigenous knowledge.
