EIANZ is delighted to announce a new partnership with the Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA). This agreement will provide exciting opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange across our organisations, which share a dedication to promoting the highest possible standards of expertise in our fields.
From 1 February 2024, EIANZ members will be able to access member rates for ALGA’s professional development events, which include a broad range of webinars, symposiums, conferences and training sessions. This reciprocal arrangement will also allow our members to connect with ALGA members at Institute events.
ALGA provides a forum and identity for the Australasian contaminated land and groundwater industry and supports the many professionals working in the field. Its mission is to promote the protection, restoration and management of land and groundwater for the benefit of human health and the broader environment across Australasia.
Our partnership with ALGA sits alongside current agreement with the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) and the National Environmental Law Association (NELA).
We look forward to working with ALGA on common goals to benefit our members and the environment profession.
We acknowledge and value the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in the protection and management of environmental values through their involvement in decisions and processes, and the application of traditional Indigenous knowledge.
