The Certification Board is seeking expressions of interest for three additional Registrars to assist with the processing applications.
The CEnvP Scheme receives and processes applications from environmental practitioners for certification. At the two intakes each year - March and September applications are received by the CEnvP office then forwarded to Registrars for screening to ensure the minimum criteria is satisfied before further processing and panel interviews.
The Certification Board calls for expressions of interest for Registrars to review applications from the following geographic areas, in both the 'general practice' and specialist categories (with the exception of Contaminated Land specialist applications)
Practitioners with the following attributes are encouraged to apply:
Capacity to commit a minimum of 20 hours per month across an 8 week period, twice a year following each intake – all work is done online.
The Registrar role also provides a unique opportunity to get involved with promotion and development of the CEnvP initiative. The position is voluntary but subject to a modest honorarium based on the number of received and successful applications to cover expenses and costs incurred during the role. Registrars earn one CPD point per hour (capped at 50 points per CPD log).

The Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme requires four additional Panel Convenors to join our team.
Panel Convenors are responsible for coordinating communications between CEnvP office and the applicants, by working as a team with the Registrar Assistant and Program Manager to facilitate efficiency of the program. The call is to fill the following postitions:
The main time commitments are in November and May of each year, following the application intakes. The role offers flexibility and the ability to network with fellow CEnvPs and new applicants.
A small honorarium based on the interviews held will be provided to cover expenses and costs incurred during the role.It is estimated that the role requires 20 hours of input per year. All work is done online. Panel Convenors earn one CPD point per hour (capped at 50 points per CPD log).
