Are you an emerging environmental leader and can dedicate a few hours a month to the Institute? If so, the Students and Early Careers Committee wants you!
The committee is now seeking expressions of interest for new members. Over the past 12 months, the Students and Early Careers Committee has met monthly and made great progress on some exciting initiatives. The committee's role is to support the EIANZ Board in the development of member services for students and early career environmental practitioners.
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the team who are willing to give their time, energy and ideas. In particular, we’re looking for people from jurisdictions not currently represented on the committee – Tasmania, Western Australia, Far North Queensland and the Northern Territory – but we’re also keen to hear from anyone who’d like to be involved.
Express your interest today by sending an email with your details and a brief paragraph about why you want to join to office@eianz.org by 20 September 2016.
We acknowledge and value the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in the protection and management of environmental values through their involvement in decisions and processes, and the application of traditional Indigenous knowledge.
