EIANZ is pleased to share an Industry White Paper ahead of next week's Global Nature Positive Summit in Sydney. The White Paper outlines our four key recommendations to government and industry stakeholders attending the Summit.
It draws on the outcomes of our 2024 marquee events, which each focused on a specific topic as it relates to nature positive: Impact Assessment, Biodiversity Offsets, and Nature Positive Cities. The White Paper includes the communiqués from each event and our relevant Position Statements, including our recently updated Biodiversity Position Statement. Our thanks to all the members who contributed their expertise to these documents and the final Paper.
The Institute will be represented at the Summit and has already shared the Paper with close to 100 key stakeholders from Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, and internationally.
Members are encouraged to get in touch with our Summit delegates on LinkedIn with key points they would like represented to stakeholders.
EIANZ's delegation includes:
Vicki Brady | President
Jonathon Miller | Chief Executive Officer
Andrew Morison | Chair, Nature Positive Cities Symposium Chair
David Francis | Chair, National Biodiversity Offsets Conference
Chris Wilson | Chair, Environmental Accounting Section
Garry Middle | Committee Member, Impact Assessment Section
Stay tuned to EIANZ's LinkedIn page for updates from our representatives throughout this pivotal event for the environment profession.
