The National Biodiversity Offsets Conference was an outstanding success for the Institute with eminent speakers and experts meeting over three days to progress biodiversity offsets policy and implementation.
Sincere thanks to all who made it such a success, in particular the Conference Organising Committee chaired by David Francis and including Narelle Mewburn, David Fleming, Steven Ward, Dugal McFarlane and Martin Juniper. Thanks also to EIANZ members including Carolyn Cameron, Andrew Morison and Paul Keighley for their assistance.
This event was a collaborative effort, so thanks to DCCEEW and the ACT Parks and Conservation Service for their work on the workshops and field trips and to all our session Chairs.
Thanks to our sponsors Niche Environment and Heritage, Umwelt Environmental Consultants, ARTC Inland Rail, NSW Department of Planning and Environment, EMM Consulting, Biosis, Cameron Strategies and Capital Ecology.
For those that were unable to attend, we are working to provide recordings of conference sessions.
