After many years of service, Dan Morton has recently resigned his membership from the CEnvP Site Contamination Specialist Environmental Advisory Committee (SEAC). The CEnvP Scheme would like to acknowledge and thank Dan for his contributions.
Dan has contributed greatly to CEnvP as a SEAC member, registrar and a key contributor to the Soil Contamination specialisation (SC).
As part of a small working party in the EIANZ Contaminated Land SIS, Dan was instrumental in the early development work of the CEnvP Site Contamination specialty.
His dedication and tireless work over many years included developing criteria and rigorous exam processes. For many years Dan volunteered as the only (and inaugural) Site Contamination Registrar, reviewing every application to ensure competency. He also travelled and conducted Contaminated Land workshops on behalf of the CEnvP Scheme.
Alex Blood, Chair of the CEnvP Board said, “Dan has been a loyal and important member of the Site Contamination SEAC and CEnvP as a whole. We thank him for his contributions over the journey.”
Dan Morton has helped develop CEnvP SC into the strong and robust certification that it is today, and the CEnvP Board thanks Dan for his efforts and contributions to the whole CEnvP Scheme.
