Welcoming our new Honorary Fellows
At the recent EIANZ 2023 Annual Conference networking and awards night on Tuesday 17 October in Auckland, we announced two new Honorary Fellows of the Institute. Professor Hugh Possingham HFEIANZ and Professor Stephen van Leeuwen HFEIANZ.
Honorary Fellowships are awarded to those who have made an outstanding contribution to the environment profession. EIANZ currently has nine Honorary Fellow Members.
We acknowledge and value the rights and interests of Indigenous Peoples in the protection and management of environmental values through their involvement in decisions and processes, and the application of traditional Indigenous knowledge.
